How do I Protect My Yellow Card account?

Protecting your Yellow Card account is paramount. We offer several security options to ensure the safety of your account:

1. Password: Your password serves as your Yellow Card account's initial line of defence. During registration, we recommend creating a complex password with a combination of random characters to make it difficult for anyone to guess. Remember, your password should remain confidential, and you should never share it with anyone.

Note: No Yellow Card employee will ever ask for your password.

If you suspect your password has been compromised, take immediate action to change it. You can find instructions on how to change your password here.

2. 2-Factor Authentication (2FA):To bolster your account's security, we strongly advise enabling 2FA. This additional layer of protection ensures that even if your password is compromised, unauthorized access to your account remains impossible. You'll need to enter a 6-digit code, alongside your password, each time you log in.

We've prepared a comprehensive guide on how to activate 2FA for your convenience.

3. Transaction PIN: Setting a transaction PIN is important to safeguard your Yellow Card account against unauthorized transactions. This 4-digit PIN grants authorization for external transactions, including sending coins from your Yellow Card wallet or withdrawing funds. You'll be prompted to establish a transaction PIN when initiating such transactions for the first time.

Please remember that Yellow Card will never request your Transaction PIN. If you forget your transaction PIN, contact our support team for assistance, as resetting it requires a secure process.

We appreciate your trust in Yellow Card and your commitment to account security.

Thank you for choosing Yellow Card. Your financial safety is our top priority.
