2FA (2-Factor Authentication)
What is 2FA?
2FA stands for Two-Factor Authentication. It adds an extra layer of security to your Yellow Card account, ensuring only you can access it.
How 2FA Works
When 2FA is enabled, you’ll need to provide more than just your password during login. You may be required to enter:
•PIN & OTP: Sent to your registered email.
•Biometrics: Fingerprint or Face ID.
•Google Authenticator Codes: 6-digit codes generated by the app.
Activating 2FA on the Mobile App
1.Tap on your profile tab at the top of your home page.
2.Select Security.
3.Select Two-Factor Authentication.
4.Choose your preferred verification method.
5.Follow the prompt to complete the setup.
Setup on Mobile
1.Navigate to Security > 2-Step Verification > Authenticator App.
2.Copy the Authenticator Secret Code and store it safely.
3.Add the code to your app by selecting “Enter a setup key” and naming it “Yellow Card Financial.”
4.Enter the code and tap Add.
5.Copy the generated 6-digit code, enter it in the Yellow Card app, and confirm.
