How to Get Verified For Tier 1

This article comprehensively guides you through each step of the process, excluding residents of Nigeria (for Nigerian residents, please refer to this link).

Once you've downloaded the Yellow Card mobile app and created an account, you'll automatically qualify for Tier 0. However, please note that Tier 0 does not permit withdrawals in the local currency.

To gain access to all the features offered by the Yellow Card, you'll need to progress to Tier 1.

To successfully complete your Tier 1 verification, follow these steps:

Step 1

Login to your Yellow Card account and tap the profile tab at the top left of the homepage

Step 2

Click on "Verify Identity," and on the second page, select "Verify Identity."

Click "Tier 1," as shown below.

Step 4

A page with the complete list of information needed for your Tier 1 verification will appear. Click "Next" at the bottom of the page.

Step 5

Please select your source of funds. You can choose more than one, if applicable.

Step 6

Select your nationality and your ID Type, then proceed to enter your ID number.

Step 7

You will be asked to confirm the details of your ID by entering your name and date of birth.

Step 8

Allow access to your National ID data, and take a photo of the front of your National ID. You also have the option to upload an image of your National ID from your device.

Step 9

Finally, SELFIE!  Take a photo of your face. Don't forget to give us your biggest smile 😁

Step 10

Your provided information will undergo a review and verification process for accuracy. If the information entered is correct, your account should receive verification within 1 to 2 business days.
