How do I delete my account?

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to delete your Yellow Card account:

Please note that you can only delete your account using the Yellow Card app.

Step 1: Open the Yellow Card app and click on the profile tab on the home page's top left.

Step 2: Navigate to the "Security" section.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the screen and locate the "Delete Account" option.

Step 4: You will be prompted to select a reason for deleting your account. After making your selection, click "Next."

Step 5: If there are funds in your account that need to be withdrawn, you will be instructed to complete this step before proceeding.

Step 6: Once funds have been withdrawn (if necessary), you will need to enter your account password to continue with the account deletion process.

Step 7: You will be asked to confirm your decision to delete your account. Click on "Yes, delete my account" to proceed.

Step 8: Congratulations! You have successfully deleted your Yellow Card account.

Note: Kindly note that the account deletion process may require up to 24 hours for completion. Should you receive funds in your account via Yellow Pay or Coins within this period, the account deletion process will be stopped.
