Am I sending money to a scam?
Yellow Card is an on/off ramp that lets you trade your local currency for coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether. Yellow Card is not a tool for investment, get-rich-quick, or Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) schemes.
If anyone reaches out to you, offering you a way to earn big profits within a short period by using Yellow Card, such a person is a scammer and is not associated with Yellow Card.
Think of Yellow Card as your personal Coin Wallet. As such, you will be able to see your balance clearly in your account, and when you deposit money, it will reflect in your Yellow Card account.
If someone tells you to send to a Yellow Card account that you have not set up YOURSELF, then there is a good chance that it is a scam and your money is at risk. Always sign up only through the Yellow Card web or mobile App, using your details and password. If you have not done this, and someone says that you should send money to Yellow Card through a group, personal call, or other unofficial channels, then this is very likely a scam and is in no way affiliated with the Yellow Card brand.
Only communicate with Yellow Card through the Live Chat on our Web App or through email at [email protected]. If you are asked to speak with someone claiming to work for Yellow Card through another channel, do not follow through with this.
What should I do if I suspect a scam?
If anyone reaches out to you through any channel other than our official live chat or email address and asks for your account details, ignore such messages and report them as spam, then share your experience with us.
