Yellow Card App Changes - Frequently Asked Questions

We wanted to let you know about some important changes coming to how you access Yellow Card. Here’s everything you need to know.

What’s changing with Yellow Card?

Starting August 1, 2025, we’re focusing all our efforts on our main apps to give you a better, more secure experience. This means:

  • Yellow Card Web App will no longer be available


  • Yellow Card App from Palmstore will be discontinued


  • Devices running Android 8 (or below) and iOS 12 (or below) will no longer be supported


We understand that change can be unexpected, so we’ve put together everything you need to know below to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Is my Yellow Card account being closed?

No, your Yellow Card account is NOT being closed. Your account remains completely safe and active. Only the way you access it is changing – nothing else.

Are my funds safe?

Yes, your funds are completely secure. Nothing is happening to your money or your account. This change only affects which app you use to access your account.

Why are you making these changes?

We’re focusing our energy and resources on improving our core mobile apps—Yellow Card on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

This shift will help us deliver a faster, more secure, and feature-rich experience on the platforms where most of our users already are. This change does not mean there are issues with your account or Yellow Card services; it’s simply a step toward building a better app experience.

For Web App Users

I only use the web app. What do I need to do?

Simply download our main Yellow Card app before August 1, 2025.


You’ll login with the same details you use now – everything else stays the same.


Will the web app work until August 1st?

Yes, you can continue to use the web app normally until August 1, 2025. After this day, you will no longer be able to use the web app.

For Palmstore Users

I downloaded Yellow Card app from the Palmstore. What should I do?

Please follow these steps to continue using Yellow Card without any interruption:

Step 1: Uninstall the version you downloaded from  Palmstore


Step 2: Download the official Yellow Card app


Step 3: Log in with the same credentials you use on the Palmstore version


Can I keep using the Palmstore version for now?

Yes, until August 1, 2025. But we recommend switching as soon as possible to avoid any interruption.

For Users on Older Operating Systems (Android 8 and below / iOS 12 and below):

My phone runs Android 8/iOS 12 or older. What are my options?

Option 1: Update your device software

If your device supports it, update to Android 9/iOS 13 or a higher operating system and download the Yellow Card app from the Play Store or App Store. This will give you full access and ongoing updates.

Option 2: If you can’t update your device

No worries, your account and funds are still safe. You have two choices:

  • Keep your account: It remains active and secure. You can access it in the future from a newer device.


  • Close your account: If you prefer, withdraw your funds before August 1st and request account closure by filling out this form: Request Account Closure

How do I check if my device can be updated?

  • Android: Go to Settings > System (or About Phone) > System Update
  • iOS: Go to Settings > General > Software Update

 What if I can’t switch immediately?

You’ll still be able to use the web, app versions on older operating systems, or Palmstore versions until August 1, 2025. If you need to manage your funds or export data, you can do so before then.

Even after these versions are discontinued:

  • Your Yellow Card account will remain active.


  • You can still access it later through the main mobile apps.


  • If needed, you can also contact our support team for assistance.

In Summary:

  • The Yellow Card Web App and mobile app from the Palmstore will no longer be available from August 1, 2025


  • The Yellow Card mobile app support for devices that run Android 8/iOS 12 or lower will end on August 1, 2025.


  • Your account and funds remain safe


  • Please switch to the Yellow Card app on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store for uninterrupted access to your account
