Yellow Card App Changes - Frequently Asked Questions

We want to share some important changes coming to the way you access your Yellow Card account. Here’s everything you need to know.

What’s Changing?

Starting August 1, 2025, we’re focusing on our main mobile apps to give you a faster, safer, and more reliable experience. This means:

  • The Yellow Card Web App will no longer be available.
  • The Yellow Card App from Palmstore will be discontinued.
  • Devices running Android 8 or lower and iOS 12 or lower will no longer be supported.

We understand change can be inconvenient, so we’ve outlined everything you need to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Your Account and Funds

Is my Yellow Card account being closed?

No. Your account stays active and secure. The only way you can access it is by changing.

Are my funds safe?

Yes! Your funds are completely secure. This update only affects how you log in, not your account or money.

Why We’re Making These Changes

We’re focusing our energy on improving our core mobile apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

This allows us to:

  • Deliver a faster and more secure experience
  • Add new features for mobile users
  • Focus support on the platforms most of our customers already use

This is simply a step toward building the best possible app experience for you.

If You Use the Web App

I only use the web app. What should I do?

Download our main Yellow Card mobile app before August 1, 2025:

  • Android: Google Play Store
  • iOS: Apple App Store

Log in with the same email and password—your account will stay exactly the same.

Will the web app work until August 1st?

Yes. You can keep using the web app normally until August 1, 2025, after which it will no longer be available.

If You Use the Palmstore App

I downloaded the app from Palmstore. What now?

Please switch to the official version before August 1, 2025:

  1. Uninstall the Palmstore version
  2. Download the official Yellow Card app from Google Play Store
  3. Log in with your existing credentials

Can I keep using the Palmstore app for now?

Yes, until August 1, 2025. But we recommend switching early to avoid interruptions.

If You Use an Older Device (Android 8 or iOS 12 and below)

My phone is on an older OS. What are my options?

Option 1: Update your device

If your device allows it, update to Android 9 / iOS 13 or higher and download the Yellow Card app from the official app stores.

Option 2: If your device can’t update

Don’t worry—your account and funds are still safe. You can:

  • Keep your account: It stays active, and you can access it from a newer device in the future.
  • Close your account: If you prefer, withdraw your funds and submit this [Account Closure Request Form] before August 1st.

How to check for updates:

  • Android: Settings → System (or About Phone) → System Update
  • iOS: Settings → General → Software Update

What If I Can’t Switch Right Away?

  • You can keep using the web app, Palmstore app, or older device apps until August 1, 2025.
  • After that date, those options will no longer work—but your account and funds remain safe.
  • You can always access your account later using the main mobile app on a supported device or contact Customer Support if you need help.

In Summary

  • Web App and Palmstore app end August 1, 2025
  • Support for Android 8 / iOS 12 and below ends August 1, 2025
  • Your account and funds remain safe
  • Download the official app from Google Play or the App Store to keep your access uninterrupted

We appreciate your understanding as we improve your Yellow Card experience.
