How to get verified for KYC Tier 1 - Senegal
This article is designed specifically for our users in Senegal. It offers a step-by-step guide to completing Tier 1 verification on Yellow Card in Senegal.
Once you download the Yellow Card mobile app, you will be guided through setting up your account.
Please remember to verify your email address before proceeding with Tier 1 verification.
Step 1:
Open your Yellow Card app or web app. If you're using the Yellow Card app, click on the profile tab in the left top corner. Find the profile tab at the top right corner using the web app.
Step 2:
Within the profile section, locate and select "Verify Identity." From the available options, choose the first one, which is to verify your Identity for trading limits.
Step 3:
A pop-up window will appear, providing information about the KYC Tier 1 verification process. Click on "Next" to initiate your KYC verification.
Step 4:
You will be prompted to select the source of funds from the following options: salary, savings, gains from commercial transactions, legacy, gain, or others. Choose your preferred source of funds, then click on "Next."
Step 5:
Enter your residential address, state, and postal code as required. Once you've filled in the necessary details, click "Next."
Step 6:
Select your nationality and the type of document you wish to use for verification, such as an ECOWAS Card or an International passport. Provide your ID number to proceed.
Step 7:
Confirm the information on your ID by inputting your name and date of birth exactly as stated on the ID. Click on "Confirm" to proceed.
Step 8:
Allow Yellow Card access to the document you provided. After this step, you'll need to take a selfie of yourself and also a picture of your ECOWAS ID card or Passport.
That's it! Following these steps will complete your KYC Tier 1 verification process.
