Is my Bitcoin Wallet Address private?

From the very first day Bitcoin was released, privacy has been at its core and one of its major defining factors.

Your Yellow Card Wallet Addresses work in the same way.

A Wallet Address is a unique identifier allowing people to send Bitcoin to your wallet. Please note that every coin has its own address, which can be used to receive that same coin type from others.

Wallet Addresses may be in the form of a mixture of random numbers and letters or a QR Code.

Note: Yellow Card does not have access to the bitcoin or other coins in our customer's wallets

Wallets may fall under two main categories. These are Hot Wallets and Cold Wallets.

The only difference between a hot and a cold wallet is that a hot wallet is connected to the internet while a cold wallet is not.

For example, when you create an account on Yellow Card and opt to store your coins through us, you are holding it in a hot wallet. Yellow Card’s hot wallet makes it easy to send or even receive coins quickly. Although it may be argued that Cold Wallets are much safer due to their offline status, they also have their downsides, as accessibility may be challenging.

Yellow Card is always committed to keeping its user’s coins safe and has employed some of the best employees and technology tools to do this.

Financially yours, Yellow Card.
