Treasury Portal Statuses Explained
Last updated: September 24, 2026
Each request you submit on the Treasury Portal moves through a series of statuses as it progresses from submission to completion. This article explains what each status means and what, if anything, you need to do at each stage.
Keep the following in mind:
Statuses update automatically as your request moves through the process. You don't need to refresh or resubmit anything.
Quotes are time-sensitive. Once a quote is ready, you'll have a limited window to accept or decline it before it expires.
If a status doesn't match what you expect, check the sections below before contacting support.
What is an RFQ?
A Request for Quote (RFQ) is a request you submit through the Treasury Portal asking Yellow Card's Trading Team to provide a quote for a currency conversion or transaction. Once submitted, a Yellow Card Trader reviews it and responds with a quoted rate, and you then decide whether to accept or decline.
What are the different Treasury Portal request statuses?
1. Pending Review
What it means: Your RFQ has been successfully submitted and is waiting for a response from Yellow Card's team.
What to do: No action is required at this stage. Your request is in the queue, and a Yellow Card Trader will respond with a quote shortly.
2. Quote Ready
What it means: Yellow Card's Trader has reviewed your RFQ and responded with a quote. The quoted rate is now available for you to review.
What to do: Log in to the Treasury Portal to review the quote. You can choose to accept or decline the offer. Note that quotes are time-sensitive; if you don't respond within the expiry window, the quote will expire automatically.
3. Accepted
What it means: You've accepted the quote provided by Yellow Card's Trader, and the transaction is being processed.
What to do: No further action is required. Your transaction will proceed based on the accepted terms.
4. Completed
What it means: Your transaction has been fully processed. You accepted the RFQ response from Yellow Card's Trader, and the request has been executed successfully.
What to do: No action needed. You can view the completed transaction details in your Treasury Portal history.
5. Declined
What it means: You reviewed the quote from Yellow Card's Trader and chose to reject it. The RFQ is now closed.
What to do: If you still need to complete a transaction, you can submit a new RFQ at any time.
6. Cancelled
What it means: You submitted an RFQ but cancelled the request before Yellow Card's Trader had a chance to respond with a quote.
What to do: If you still need a quote, you can submit a new RFQ. If the cancellation was unintentional, contact Yellow Card support.
7. Quote Unavailable
What it means: Yellow Card's Trader submitted a quote in response to your RFQ but withdrew it before you had the chance to respond.
What to do: Submit a new RFQ to request a fresh quote. If this happens repeatedly, contact Yellow Card support for assistance.
8. Trader Rejected
What it means: Yellow Card's Trader reviewed your RFQ and rejected it. The request will not proceed.
What to do: Review the details of your original RFQ for any errors. You may submit a new RFQ with corrected information, or contact Yellow Card support for clarification on why the request was rejected.
9. Quote Expired
What it means: Yellow Card's Trader provided a quote in response to your RFQ, but you didn't respond within the required expiry window, so the quote is no longer valid.
What to do: Submit a new RFQ to receive an updated quote. Rates are time-sensitive, so review and act on quotes promptly after receiving them.
10. Quote Request Timed Out
What it means: Your RFQ was submitted successfully, but Yellow Card's Trader didn't respond with a quote within the expected timeframe, so the request has timed out.
What to do: Submit a new RFQ. If the issue persists, contact Yellow Card support to investigate.
