Countries and regions we do not support
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Yellow Card operates in a growing number of countries, but there are a small number of places we cannot transact with at all. If you tried to send money and were brought to this page, the country or region you selected is one of them.
We have listed all of them below so you can check before you start a transaction.
Why some countries and regions are restricted
Yellow Card is a licensed and regulated business. That means we have to follow the sanctions programs, anti-money laundering rules, and counter terrorist financing rules that apply in every market where we operate. We also have to follow the requirements our banking, payment, and liquidity partners set for us.
Together, these obligations mean we cannot move assets to or from certain countries and regions. In some cases, it is because of an international sanctions program. In others, it is because of financial crime risk, or simply because we do not hold a license or have partner coverage in that market.
This is not a judgment about you, your recipient, or any country. The list applies to every Yellow Card customer in the same way, and following it is part of what allows us to keep operating safely across the markets we serve.
Countries and regions we do not support
We cannot currently process transactions to or from the following 29 countries and regions. The two-letter code beside each one is the country code you may see in the app or on a receipt.

What this means for you
If any part of a transaction touches one of these countries or regions, we will not be able to complete it. In practice, that means you cannot:
Send funds to a recipient, bank account, mobile money wallet, or business located there
Receive funds that come from there
Open or run a Yellow Card account while you live there
Use your Yellow Card account while you are physically there, including while you are travelling
If a transaction is stopped, the funds are returned to the account they came from. Depending on your payment method and your bank, the return can take a few business days to show up, and any network or partner fee already charged may not be recoverable.
