Countries and regions we do not support

Yellow Card operates in a growing number of countries, but there are a small number of places we cannot transact with at all. This article lists the 29 restricted countries and regions and explains why these restrictions exist.

The unsupported countries and regions are:

• Afghanistan

• Belarus

• Central African Republic

• China

• Cuba

• Democratic Republic of the Congo

• Ethiopia

• Haiti

• Iran

• Iraq

• Kosovo

• Lebanon

• Libya

• Mali

• Montenegro

• Myanmar

• Nicaragua

• North Korea

• Palestine

• Russia

• Serbia

• Somalia

• South Sudan

• Sudan

• Syria

• Ukraine

• Venezuela

• Yemen

• Zimbabwe

Why These Restrictions Exist

These restrictions stem from regulatory compliance requirements. Yellow Card must "follow the sanctions programs, anti-money laundering rules, and counter terrorist financing rules that apply in every market where we operate."

What This Means for Transactions

The restrictions prevent users from doing any of the following in connection with these countries or regions:

• Sending funds to recipients located in these regions

• Receiving funds from these regions

• Opening an account while residing in one of these locations

• Using an existing account while physically present in one of these locations
