2FA (2-Factor Authentication)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Yellow Card account, ensuring only you can access it. This article explains how 2FA works and how to activate it.

When 2FA is enabled, you'll need to provide more than just your password during login. You may be required to use one of the following verification methods:

  • PIN & OTP: Sent to your registered email.

  • Google Authenticator Codes: 6-digit codes generated by the app.

Follow the steps below to set up the Authenticator App on mobile:

  1. Navigate to Security > 2-Step Verification > Authenticator App.

  2. Copy the Authenticator Secret Code and store it safely.

  3. Add the code to your authenticator app by selecting "Enter a setup key" and naming it "Yellow Card Financial."

  4. Enter the code and tap Add.

  5. Copy the generated 6-digit code, enter it in the Yellow Card API Dashboard or Treasury Portal, and confirm.

2FA is now activated. The code changes every 30 seconds, if it expires, you'll need a new code.
