Terms and Conditions - A Whole In Your Wallet Giveaway

A Whole in your wallet giveaway is a lucky draw competition for all customers who buy, sell or send a minimum of $10 on Yellow Card for a chance to win 1 BTC and other cash prizes. 

In this giveaway, each transaction equals a competition entry. 

Competition Period: 13th February to 26th March 2023 

Prize: 

• 1 Bitcoin for one customer who trades or sends at least $10 at the end of the campaign. 
• $1,000 worth of BTC to be won weekly. Customers who trade or send at least the minimum value (specific/different for each country) between Week 2 - Week 5 of the campaign will receive $250 each.

Participating Countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Botswana, and Cameroon. 

Terms: The following terms apply to enter the competition: 

1. Entering the Competition 

You automatically qualify when you trade - crypto buys, sell or send a minimum of $10 on Yellow Card (Web or Mobile). There is a limit of one transaction per day to enter the draw.

2. Eligibility criteria 

The competition is open to all Yellow Card customers eligible to trade. You must be 18 years or older. You must have verified your account and be at least on Tier 1 by submitting official and valid identification. Yellow Card will exclude any account created using fake or fraudulent details from the competition. 

Users with multiple accounts can only be entered into the competition once. Employees and relatives of employees of Yellow Card or any of its subsidiaries are not eligible to enter this competition. To claim your winnings for the 1 BTC grand prize, you must be Tier 3 verified by providing the required information outlined here.

3. Agreement to these Terms

Without limiting the applicability of Yellow Card's User Agreement and Privacy Policy to customers who sign up, you agree to be bound by these additional Terms when participating in the competition. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility criteria. You also agree to accept any decision made by Yellow Card in these Terms as final and binding.

4. Selecting winners

Yellow Card will randomly select 4 eligible winners weekly from week 2. The winners will be notified every Tuesday from the 21st of February, while the main winner will be notified via email on the week of the 27 March, 2023. The competition starts at 00:00 am on 13 February and ends at 11:59 pm on 26 March 2023.

5. Contacting winners

The winners will be reached through Yellow Card’s official Email - [email protected]

6. Announcing the winner

The winners will be announced across any of Yellow Card's social media pages, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. If you are selected as a winner, you agree to Yellow Card publishing your face and name in any media of its choice including social media. 

7. Personal data

By participating in the Contest, the Entrant agrees to the collection, processing, retention, usage, and distribution of their personal information by Yellow Card. Yellow Card shall use/process the personal information supplied by the Entrants for this contest in line with its privacy policy link here.

The Winners consent to the use of their name or details for advertising, marketing, or promotional activities relating to the contest and Yellow Card's products and services without additional compensation or prior notice. In participating in the competition, all Entrants consent to the same.

8. Limitation of liability

Yellow Card does not accept liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any Entrant due to either participating in this contest or being selected as a winner. 

Also, Yellow Card shall not be responsible for any damage or loss suffered by any Entrant due to the publicity associated with the contest or any promotional activity by the Company. 

Subsequent ownership and trade in bitcoin by the winner is beyond the company's control. Therefore, we do not accept any liability to the Entrant or a third party resulting from the Entrant's future dealings.

9. Account information

You acknowledge that you will safeguard your login and account information and be your account's sole operator/accessor/transactor. Yellow Card Financial will not be liable for any loss you may incur if you disclose your login details to a third party intentionally or by negligence. If Yellow Card incurs any loss due to your negligence or willful disclosure to a third party, you shall indemnify Yellow Card Financial to the extent of their loss.

10. Nature of Business

Yellow Card Financial is neither an investment company nor an investment advisory. Yellow Card Financial is a crypto-asset exchange platform. We do not operate, participate in or promote any multi-level marketing scheme. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss if you engage in such transactions.

11. General

Yellow Card reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this contest with or without prior notice for any reason. These may include, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud or where it considers it necessary to do so. Our decision is final and binding in this instance, and no correspondence will be entered. 

Yellow Card shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something beyond its reasonable control.

Le concours "Tout dans votre portefeuille" est un tirage au sort destiné à tous les clients qui achètent, vendent ou envoient un minimum de 10$ sur Yellow Card pour avoir une chance de gagner 1 BTC et d'autres prix en espèces.

3. Accord sur les présentes conditions

Vous déclarez et garantissez que vous répondez aux critères d'admissibilité. Vous acceptez également d'accepter toute décision prise par Yellow Card dans le cadre des présentes conditions comme définitive et contraignante.

4. Sélection des gagnants

Yellow Card sélectionne au hasard 3 gagnants admissibles à la fin de la période du concourse. 

5. Contact avec les gagnants

Les gagnants seront contactés par un e-mail officiel de Yellow Card.

6. Annonce du gagnant

Les gagnants peuvent être annoncés sur l'une des pages de médias sociaux de Yellow Card, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, Instagram, Facebook et Twitter. Si vous êtes sélectionné comme gagnant, vous acceptez que Yellow Card publie certaines parties de votre nom d'utilisateur.

Yellow Card n'accepte aucune responsabilité pour tout dommage, perte, blessure ou déception subis par un participant en raison de sa participation au concours ou de sa sélection comme gagnant.

De même, Yellow Card n'est pas responsable de tout dommage ou perte subi par un participant en raison de la publicité associée au concours ou de toute activité promotionnelle de la société.

La propriété et le commerce ultérieurs de bitcoins par le gagnant échappent au contrôle de l'entreprise. Par conséquent, nous n'acceptons aucune responsabilité envers le participant ou un tiers résultant des transactions futures du participant.

9. Informations sur le compte

Vous reconnaissez que vous protégerez vos informations d'ouverture de session et de compte et que vous serez le seul opérateur/accesseur/transposeur de votre compte. Yellow Card Financial ne sera pas responsable de toute perte que vous pourriez subir si vous divulguez vos données de connexion à un tiers, intentionnellement ou par négligence. Si Yellow Card subit une perte en raison de votre négligence ou de votre divulgation intentionnelle à un tiers, vous indemniserez Yellow Card Financial dans la mesure de sa perte. 

10. Nature de l'entreprise

Nous n'acceptons aucune responsabilité pour toute perte si vous vous engagez dans de telles transactions.

11.Généralités

Yellow Card se réserve le droit, à tout moment et de temps à autre, de modifier ou d'interrompre, temporairement ou définitivement, ce Giveaway avec ou sans préavis, pour quelque raison que ce soit. Cela peut inclure, sans limitation, en cas de fraude anticipée, suspectée ou réelle ou lorsqu'elle considère qu'il est nécessaire de le faire. Notre décision est définitive et contraignante dans ce cas, et aucune correspondance ne sera échangée.

Yellow Card ne sera pas responsable de tout manquement à ses obligations si ce manquement est causé par un événement indépendant de sa volonté.
