How to Get Verified for Tier 1

In this article, we will outline all the steps you will go through every step of the way, except for Nigerian residents.

After downloading your Yellow Card mobile app, you will be asked to complete your setup.

Step 1

After selecting your nationality please be sure to select your ID Type and enter your ID number.

Step 2

Click on “Tier 1” as shown below.

For Tier 1 you will need to provide:

Your Name

Date of Birth

(As shown on your government issued ID)

Step 3

Here is the complete list of information to be provided for Tier 1

Step 4

Please select your source of funds. You can select more than one, if applicable

Step 5: 

Select your nationality, your ID Type, then proceed to enter your ID number

Step 6

Allow access to your National ID data, and take a photo of the front of your National ID. You also have the option to upload an image of your National ID from your device

Step 7

Finally, SELFIE! Take a photo of your face. Don't forget to give us your biggest smile 😁

If you entered the information above you should have your account verified within 1 to 2 business days.
