Am I sending money to a scam?

Yellow Card is a cryptocurrency exchange that lets you trade your local currency for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether. Yellow Card is not a tool for Investments, Get Rich Quick or Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) schemes.

If anyone reaches out to you offering you a way to earn big profits within a short period of time by using Yellow Card, such a person is a scammer and is not associated with Yellow Card.

Think of Yellow Card as your personal Crypto Wallet. As such you will be able to see your balance in your account clearly, and when you deposit money it will reflect in your Yellow Card account.

If someone tells you to send to a Yellow Card account that you have not set up YOURSELF, then there is a good chance that it is a scam and your money is at risk. Always sign up only through the Yellow Card web or mobile App, using your personal details, and with your own password. If you have not done this, and someone says that you should send money to Yellow Card through a group, personal call or other unofficial channels, then this is very likely a scam and is in no way affiliated with the Yellow Card brand.

Only communicate with Yellow Card through the Live Chat on our Web App, or through email at [email protected]. If you are asked to communicate with someone claiming to work for Yellow Card through another channel, do not follow through with this.

What should I do if I suspect a scam?

If anyone reaches out to you through any channel other than our official live chat or email address and asks for your account details, ignore such messages and report them as spam, then share your experience with us via [email protected]
